The comments at the Herald Sun website are moderated, but you wouldn’t know it.

This comment was posted to a story on a brawl between Sudanese youths in Clayton. It was removed from the Herald Sun site after someone commented about how offensive it was.
However even though the Herald Sun removed the comment from the internet, Herald Sun Reader has uploaded the comment onto Twitter for the world to see.

And on Twitter, Jim Wallace, Managing Director of the Australian Christian Lobby had this to say…

Some Christians seem to have forgotten about the teachings of Christ and especially John 13:34.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

Probably the most important thing Jesus taught and the most overlooked.

And the stupid comments to the Herald Sun keep coming.

And to think, these comments are moderated, which means that someone from the Herald Sun must read them and deem them appropriate before allowing them to be posted.

And here are the guidelines that the moderators are supposed to be following.
